Handling and delivery
1. Packaging/Handling Fee:
1.1 We charge a 5,00 EUR Handling Fee for all PLC2DAY Surplus purchases. This is a per order charge that offsets costs related to ESD safe custom packaging and handling supplies for products delivered to and shipped from our facility.
2. Surplus Standard Delivery Time:
2.1 We ship many units per day and all of them go through the same strict Quality Assurance system. To complete Quality Control and Testing, we require 1-2 business days for NSFP, 2-5 business days for NSPP, and 2-10 business days for USPP.
2.2 If your order is not a true urgency, then PLC2DAY will make every effort to ship within 48 hours of your order being confirmed, at no extra charge. Urgency same day Quality Control/Testing delivery time is only available where an Express Fee is charged.
2.3 If you request that items are shipped by UPS Next Day or Second Day Air (etc.) without choosing to pay the Express Fee, then 2-10 business days will still be required to prepare the items before they can be shipped. If you need items shipped within 24 hours of your order, please contact your sales representative or email sales@PLC2DAY.com or call +31 161 416 125 and request Urgent Express Service.
3. Delivery Time on Factory New Products (FNFP):
3.1 Order shipment will be confirmed before the end of the next business day.
4. Urgency EXPRESS Service:
4.1 We can ship on the day of ordering for emergency orders received before 15.00hrs CET. The Express Fee is 20% of order volume (€75.00 minimum)(limited to product).
4.2 Express surplus orders received after 15.00hrs CET ship on the next business day, an express fee being charged.
5. Please Read – Express Order Statement:
5.1 PLC2DAY would like to meet your order needs in the best way possible. We must therefore include a surcharge for same day Quality Control/Testing to protect true machine down high priority shipping requests. We do this to guarantee a customer in a true crisis situation priority shipment.
5.2 Every item leaving PLC2DAY must be reviewed and tested by Quality Control and be packaged and inspected before leaving the building. We charge a 20% surcharge to prevent the system from accepting non-critical orders as express orders.
5.3 We handle same day urgencies everyday. We ship many units everyday and all of them go through the same Quality Control system. We must therefore make a surcharge for moving a unit to the front of the line and directly to a Quality Control Team Member.
5.4 PLC2DAY will make every effort to ship units not required for a true emergency within 48 hours of your order being confirmed and with no surcharge being made.
6. Payment for goods and payment of applicable taxes:
6.1 The customer confirms that any supplied credit card or similar information is true and correct and that the customer has all rights to these, that all charges will be honoured by the customer’s credit card company and that it will pay all credit card fees as charged.
6.2 Customers shall also pay all applicable sales taxes. Customers shall indemnify, defend and hold PLC2DAY and its personnel harmless against any claims against some or all of these in relation to this.
7. International Orders
7.1 Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the EU may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country.
7.2 Customs clearance charges must be paid by the recipient. We have no control over these charges and are unable to predict the levels of these charges.
7.3 Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Please contact your local customs office for information. Customs clearance payments and/or procedures may result in delays beyond our delivery estimates.
7.4 Wire Transfers: Allow 3 – 5 business days for receipt of funds.
8. Minimum Order Charge
8.1 There is a €40.00 minimum order requirement to ensure we maintain a high quality process.
